China RoHs approval is applied in order to control and reduce environmental pollution and other public hazards during the process of manufacturing, selling, and importing electronic information products within the territory of the People's Republic of China.

In order to encouraging the Recycling of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) , China government establish WEEE Fund and make a policy to regulate the Charging & Using of this fund. Importers or Producers who import or manufacture the products classified as below have to pay the fee of WEEE Fund. The manufactures in China have to pay this fee to China Tax Bureau by quarterly, the importers have to pay this fee to China Customs when they clear the goods. This fee will be charged from 1st July, 2012. If the products get China RoHs certificate, the fee of WEEE Fund could be reduced. This fund will be used for the enterprises who handle the recycling of the waste electrical and electronic equipments.
